Mission Statement:

To provide quality, cost effective health and environmental services to the citizens of Hampshire County and to be prepared to respond to natural or manmade disasters. Emphasis of services will be preventative health under the guidelines of Healthy People 2010.
 

The Hampshire County Health Department is supported by federal, state, and county funding through various contracts and grants.  Health services are provided to persons regardless of race, color, sex, religion, national origin, or handicap.
